Keep your eyes open!
Everyone within your company or organization should be constantly “on the lookout” for anything that just doesn’t look right.
Just a few examples of potential concerns:
Every manager or supervisor should visually inspect technology throughout your facility during MBWA. They should be looking for anything that may have been modified on or around the network. Again, if a change is noted they should verify that it is legitimate.
This is a very simple process. It requires a minimal amount of introduction and training for your team.
The benefits are outstanding. This team-effort helps protect your network, increases the general understanding and respect for the importance of network security and encourages appropriate “behavior” by the team where network security is concerned.
This may be a cliche, but... it is a TEAM effort. Together Everyone Achieves More!
